Transgenders continue to exert unreasonable pressure on Society

As we reported in Volume 18 No 4,   deliberately using the “wrong” title or pronoun for a transgender person could attract a whooping fine of  $250,000 in New York.  Canada also is taking steps to criminalize such acts under general hate crime. In the latest reports, Universities in the UK are coming up hard on those who would not fall in line and accept whatever reality transgenders would choose to live with.  Oxford University has announced drastic steps to enforce its 2014 guidelines that required that transsexual people be addressed using the gender neutral pronouns ‘zie’ or ‘ey’ instead of ‘he’ or ‘she’. Failure to do this, or persistently referring to someone’s “gender identity history” could now result in outright dismissal for staff members, or expulsion for students. Similarly, the University of Sussex Students’ Union has released a new policy requiring that “the gender-neutral pronoun ‘they’ should be used as opposed to ‘he’ or ‘she’”, where an individual has not expressly stated their preferred pronoun.

In the United States, under The Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) health care providers that receive federal funds are prohibited from discriminating against any individual on the basis of sex, gender identity or failure to conform to stereotypical notions of masculinity or femininity, regardless of the actual or perceived gender identity of the individuals involved for purpose of providing health services. That means for instance, that a gynaecologist cannot refuse to attend to a man who claims he perceives “zie-self” to be female! Another clear evidence that the moon is only as old as the Bible suggests

Measurements of the formation rate of craters on the moon, now made possible by the availability of high resolution cameras and image processing systems,  have yielded another clear-cut evidence that conventional dating techniques and theories on the age of the Earth/Moon are seriously faulty. The study by astronomers at Arizona State University and Cornell University in the United States found that far many new craters were being formed on the moon than had been previously thought was possible.  And since one of the standard ways of estimating the age of the moon is based on the number of craters counted and the assumed rate of their formation, there is obvious need to revise the age ascribed to the moon, and consequently, to the earth. 

According to the report, written by correspondent of the popular version of the journal “Nature”, the revision required is massive, and would move the age of the moon from “a timescale of millions of years, to only thousands. “

One of the researchers was quoted: “I’m excited by the fact that we can see the regolith evolve and churn—a process that was believed to take hundreds of thousands to millions of years to occur—in images acquired over the past several years.”

This new age assignment for the moon is absolutely consistent with other available foolproof scientific evidences where the standard uniformitarian assumptions are challenged.  Such evidences abound in the results obtained by the Institute for Creation Research (ICR) in their landmark RATE Project (see www.icr.org).

Christiannews also spoke with Dr Jason Lisle of the ICR who noted that the moon “moves about an inch and a half farther away from the earth every year” due to tidal interactions with the earth.  This fact, Dr Lisle pointed out, would imply that the moon was actually touching the earth less than 1.5 billion years ago.  Yet current lunar theories say the moon has been orbiting the earth for some 4 billion years!

LSF Conference: The 2nd National Conference on Environment and Health April 4-5 2017

LSF Conference: The 2^nd National Conference on Environment and Health, convened by the LivingScience Foundation, is gradually taking shape, with the LORD Himself gathering in Speakers expected to throw light into issues not conventionally heard in this part of the world.
