Jihadists’ Atrocities, August 2014

In the earlier days of this newsletter, we went to details with stories of persecutions or harassments against Christians just for their religious convctions. Unfortunately, over the years, such treatments of Christians have become so common-place that it would take a tome compiling such incidents – even on daily basis!

    Thankfully, we have people like Raymond Ibrahim who still continues to provide a monthly summary of such incidents. Raymond posits that such persecution is not random but systematic, and takes place in all languages, ethnicities and locations.  His latest compilation of Persecution of Christians by Moslems, is for the month of August 2014 and is found here.

        Titled “Raping and Beheading the Faithful”, some of the cases described in the compilation include: beheadings by Muslims of Christians in Nigeria and Kenya; Attacks on Churches in East Jerusalem and Iraq; Muslim Attacks on Converts to Christianity in Iran, Kenya, New Zealand and Yemen, etc..  In the story from Yemen, Muslim relatives of a woman who converted to Christianity placed gasoline in one of her kitchen bottles, which caused her to catch fire while cooking breakfast for her family. Eventually two weeks later, Nazeera, 33, died as a result of her burns. Check the details online.
