Eleven years ago, about this time, In Vol 8 No 2, , we wrote about supervolcanoes which geologists warned are sure to emerge on the scene, sooner than later.  Volcanoes that could be hundreds of time more powerful than that of Mt St Helens, and which would affect up to a 1,000 miles radius.  Now it seems, Yellowstone is about to provide one.  If you are not preparing for your exit from this planet, you would surely have some explaining to do in the hereafter!
Here is a reportage as presented by ProphecyNews, http:/

Yellowstone Eruption Next?

Over the past week, our planet has been hit by large earthquake after large earthquake, and according to Volcano Discovery there are 38 volcanoes around the world that are erupting right now.

We have seen a dramatic spike in global seismic activity that is unlike anything that we have seen in ages, and that is why what is going on at Yellowstone is so incredibly alarming.

Geologists tell us that a full-blown eruption of the Yellowstone supervolcano would have up to 2,000 times the power of the Mount St. Helens volcanic eruption of 1980, and approximately two-thirds of the country would immediately become uninhabitable.

As you will see below, there are signs that something big is getting ready to happen at Yellowstone, and if it does erupt all of our lives will be permanently changed forever.

I want to share with you some footage from Yellowstone that was recorded on Thursday night.  In this video, it appears to be as bright as day even though it is the middle of the night, you can see a whole host of geysers steaming violently, and Old Faithful just keeps going off over and over...

This stunning footage was posted by a YouTube user known as Kat Martin 2016, and the following is what she had to say about the video that you just saw...

PUNCH Newspaper Fabricated Lies Against President Of CAN
The National Secretariat of CAN has issued a rebuttal of an interview which PUNCH Newspaper falsely claimed it had with the President of Christian Association of Nigeria, his Eminence, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor. In refuting the malicious publication titled “I’m shocked when I read negative things about Jonathan – Oritsejafor” by PUNCH Newspaper on 10th April, 2016, the General Secretary of CAN, Rev. Dr. Musa Asake, wrote to Church leaders that “the President of CAN did NOT make the statement credited to him as he did not grant the interview in question. The PUNCH journalist, Nosa Akenzua, is under strict obligation to explain how he came about the interview that he credited to the President of CAN.”
In the interview, which was entirely fabricated by PUNCH newspaper, the President of CAN was quoted to have said, “…I think the problem we have in the church is that a lot of these pastors are not “men of God” as they were not called. They are mercenaries, commercially minded people. The duty of the church is to preach morality not materialism and because Nigerians are very gullible; they are easy victims of deceit…” Many other equally contentious statements were falsely credited to the President of CAN.
The Legal Department of CAN has written PUNCH newspaper to retract the story and apologize to both the President of CAN and the Nigerian Church. The response of the newspaper is still being awaited.
This would not be the first time that PUNCH Newspaper would commit such professional misconduct which evidently is aimed at festering acrimony and disunity amongst Nigerian Christians. On another occasion, the newspaper had sent its journalist to the Word of Life Bible Church in Warri to pick words from the President of CAN while he was preaching and presented it as an interview.
It is clear that there are negative forces determined to ensure that the Nigerian Church will not attain unity and oneness. These are the same forces that fabricated the “N7 billion” story and the allegation that the President of CAN went to South Africa to import arms into the country when in actual fact the money was from the office of the NSA and it was meant to pay for mercenaries to fight Boko Haram. The mercenaries came into the country and they were instrumental in driving back Boko Haram before the 2015 Elections.
This act of false accusation is not restricted to PUNCH Newspaper alone. The United States Government in its 2014 International Religious Freedom Report presented an equally inaccurate and malicious report about the President of CAN. The US Report gave the impression that Christians in Nigeria are the obstacle to peace and security in the country. On page 11 of the USA IRF 2014 Report, it was stated:
“Many Religious Leaders publicly supported tolerance and interfaith methods of conflict resolution. For example, Catholic Cardinal John Onaiyekan and Sultan of Sokoto Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar held a summit on interfaith understanding in August. Some leaders, however, said distrust between Christian and Muslim communities (and discord among denominations within the same faith tradition) could threaten interfaith efforts.
The independent Nigerian Inter-Religious Council (NIREC) comprised of Christian and Muslim leaders, failed to meet during the year to the frustration of many Muslim and Christian leaders. The NIREC co-Chair and Head of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, has criticized Muslim leaders for not doing enough to condemn Boko Haram and has been reluctant to engage in interfaith dialogue.  As a result, Muslim and other Christian leaders have expressed disappointment at Oritsejafor’s stance.”
This inaccurate and malicious report gave the impression that the President of CAN, and by extension, the Nigerian Church, was the obstacle to peace and reconciliation in Nigeria. The Report that claimed the President of CAN is “reluctant to engage in interfaith dialogue” is contrary to the truth as the advocate for peace and reconciliation has been the President of CAN. When it proved difficult for NIREC to meet, the President of CAN organized an Inter Faith Movement called THINK NIGERIA. The Movement brought together Christian and Muslim leaders to find solutions to problems of religious intolerance in the country. Contrary to the impression created by the Americans, the THINK NIGERIA Movement met four times as follows:
  • 28th January, 2014
  • 19th March, 2014
  • 17th June, 2014
  • 18th March, 2015
The National Christian Elders Forum (NCEF) wrote the American Government pointing out the error in its report and urging USA to correct it. To date, America has not responded.
Nigerian Christians should remain circumspect and aware that there are deliberate attempts by enemies of Christianity to discredit CAN so that the Nigerian Church shall be divided. Most of the negative information circulating about CAN is direct manipulation and some are deliberately twisted to cause rancor in the Church. Christians are urged to remain circumspect.
In the meantime, the response of PUNCH newspaper is awaited.

With the Almighty God  granting us grace and access to the top echelons of academia, diplomacy, industry, and governance, the LivingScience Foundation is excited at our coming very first public outing – the 1st National Conference on Environment and Health scheduled for May 17 and 18, 2016 at the Redeemer’s University, Ede, Osun State.
Issues of environment and health are extremely complex and intertwined.  And they respond very poorly to isolated compartmentalized treatments such as they have been receiving to date in Nigeria. Even though the picture is far more “pathetic” than that of a little David challenging the giant Goliath, we nevertheless are determined we just can’t keep watching the status quo continuing!  Hence our convening this Conference.
(In any case, the God of David is still in charge of the universe.)
We try to explain the gravity and complexity of the situation using an easy-to-grasp example: Mercury poisoning.
Mercury in all its chemical forms is known be to an extremely toxic and persistent chemical affecting mainly the brain and nervous system.  Emission of minute quantities of mercury from fossil coals is one major reason (in addition to climate change concerns) for the intense campaign against the coal industry in the US and elsewhere.  Mercury is so feared among professionals that a broken mercury thermometer requires (in developed countries) specialized de-contamination procedures.
Not surprisingly, the release of mercury into the atmosphere is very strictly monitored and regulated by global bodies – mainly to prevent inevitable transfers across national boundaries. At a landmark convention in 2013, the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) decided to ban (effective 2020) the presence of mercury in several products, including drugs, cosmetics, even dental amalgam.
However, after much intensive debates and arguments, one vital product was left off the list of proscribed items – Vaccines.  Although virtually all developed countries have proscribed the addition of mercury to vaccines (particularly those used for babies) in their countries, these same folks argued that mercury should continue to be added to the vaccines administered to babies in the developing and under-developed countries!  They argue that it is only such mercury-laden vaccine that would be cheap enough for mass distribution in such resource-impaired countries. Moreover, mercury in vaccines don’t cross national boundaries and so remains the problem of the country using it!
The amazing fact is that the vast majority of Nigerians, including the highly educated, are totally oblivious of this development, and what it means for ALL of us in Nigeria!  By our continuing to use so-called multi-dose (cheaper) vaccines produced abroad, but proscribed for use there, we are shouting from the roof-top that the lives of our children, and consequently our future, is inferior to those of children from the developed nations!  Vaccines so affected include Tetanus Toxoid, Hepatitis B, and Influenza.
As usual, the world celebrated the annual World Autism Day with fanfare on April 2; and the regular official lines is that save for possible link with environmental and genetic factors, no one knows the real cause of this extremely pathetic spectrum of disease.  But with facts and figures demonstrated by people like Senator Kennedy, Trace Amounts, etc no reasonable objective person can miss the link between autism and mercury in vaccine.  See for instance, a recent article published in Egypt demonstrating this link. In the words of Boyd Haley, “I think that the biological case against Thimerosal is so dramatically overwhelming anymore that only a very foolish or a very dishonest person with the credentials to understand this research would say that Thimerosal wasn’t most likely the case of autism.”
However, this mercury palaver is just one pathetic story in our environmental-health situation in Nigeria.  The same story as above can be repeated on several other agents, ranging from lead to pesticides, from microwave radiation in the GSM industry to ionizing radiation in medical practices, from the petrochemical industry to mining of solid minerals! The bottom line is that environmental-health issues are peculiar to each local community, and of considerably grave consequences.  And they respond to the same solution – stakeholders across a broad spectrum of disciplines, need to come together and spurred by both a sense of patriotism and of self-preservation, must exchange and holistically evaluate relevant data that abound disjointedly in their particular disciplines.
This is what the 1st LSF National Conference on Environment and Health by the grace of God is spearheading.
This initiative is entirely without any government or foreign funding. Thanks to strategic supports from the Redeemer’s University and several dedicated academicians not part of LSF. The registration fee is rock-bottom cheap, to promote extensive grassroot participation including from PG students, artisans groups, etc .  You can support by exhibiting relevant products at the Conference, advertising in the Conference programme, or simply by standing with the initiative as a Sponsor in any of three categories available.  Kindly visit  for details.
