For second time, rockets found at UN school in Gaza

For the second time in less than a week, rockets have been found in a school in Gaza operated by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency.  According to the body:

“Today, in the course of the regular inspection of its premises, UNRWA discovered rockets hidden in a vacant school in the Gaza strip,” the organization said in a statement issued Tuesday. “As soon as the rockets were discovered, UNRWA staff  were withdrawn from the premises, and so we are unable to confirm the precise number of rockets. The school is situated between two other UNRWA schools that currently each accommodate 1,500 internally displaced persons”

So far over 1,000 Palestinians have died as a result of the assault by the Israeli Defence Forces(IDF), which is desperately seeking to stop the barrage of rockets being fired by Hamas upon Israeli civilian populations, including the Ben Gurion Airport.

Efforts include mass distribution of leaflets to warn the particular community that was about being bombed, so that they should evacuate; followed by the firing of warning shots without real missiles (called “knocking at the door”), and finally the real thing. 

Yet Hamas not only hides and fires rockets at Israel from within schools and mosques in Gaza, it does its best to keep the civilians on ground, so that it can use the civilian casualty number to generate global pressure on Israel. And strangely, it is working! One wonders why none of those on sympathy rallies for the Gazans in Paris and elsewhere could not simply ask Hamas to stop using innocent civilians as human shield and fodders for its rockets. And why won’t Hamas stop bombing innocent Israeli civilians also by the way?

A distraught lady accidentally featured on Al Jazeera summarizes with story when prompted for a comment by the TV crew: “God curses the Arabs before the Israelis!” she belched.
