What Really is the True Cost or Contributions of Abortion to Society?

Chelsea Clinton, daughter of the former US president and an emerging prominent voice for the liberal agenda is drawing attention to the supposedly substantial positive contribution the abortion industry is making  to the American economy. At the heat of the shameless battle to discredit Bret Kavanaugh and forestall his appointment as a US Supreme Court Justice, the Left had put up a 10-city tour sponsored by Planned Parenthood Action Fund, NARAL Pro-Choice America, and the Demand Justice Initiative.  Speaking at the pro-abortion event "Rise Up for Roe" in New York City on Aug. 11, Chelsea Clinton noted “that American women entering the labor force from 1973 to 2009 added three-and-a-half trillion dollars to our economy.” Presumably, the right to abortion had made this “great gain” possible.
But bible-believing Christians are asking Ms Clinton to do the sum again.  How about the contributions that should have come to the economy had the 60 million babies aborted in that period been spared?
Brad Mattes of Life Issues Institute, countered that Clinton:" should have also considered the 60 million aborted babies who won't enter the labor force or pay into Social Security. Their parents won't purchase diapers, clothing, toys, cars or houses to accommodate them. ... Yes, abortion's had a huge impact on America's economy and it hasn't been good. Not only are we hurting economically, we're missing 60 million blessings from God and the good they would have contributed,"
Evangelist Franklin Graham in his own comments reminded Ms. Clinton that the judgement of God is real; but assured individuals who had been involved in abortion  that God’s mercy and forgiveness are available, should they choose to repent.
