Homosexuals hounding Christian businesses off the Street

Homosexuals are prosecuting with great zeal, their open agenda of ruining businesses and impoverishing Christian families who would not sell out on their Christian conviction not to “partake in other people’s sins” by participating in so-called homosexual marriages.
The case of Aaron and Melissa Klein of Sweet Cakes in Oregon, USA, ongoing for two years now, shows just how vicious the gay activists could be.
After their order for a designer cake for a lesbian marriage was turned down in January 2013, Rachel Cryer and Laurel Bowman filed a complaint with the state for having being denied service on the basis of sexual orientation. They claimed a list of nearly 100 types of suffering they have had to bear on account of the denial.  According to the Daily Signal, the list ”included “mental rape,” “distrust of men,” “distrust of former friends,” “discomfort,” “high blood pressure,” “impaired digestion,” “loss of appetite,” “migraine headaches,” “loss of pride,” “resumption of smoking habit,” “shock” “stunned,” “surprise,” “uncertainty,” “weight gain” and “worry.”
The Kleins however pointed out that they do not discriminate against homosexuals, who are regular patrons at Sweet Cakes anyway, and who are regularly serviced.  They clarified that what they refused to do on the basis of their Christian faith, was to actually facilitate (and thereby participate in) a homosexual wedding, as they were being required.  Such reasoning is quite reasonable based on the biblical command in 1 Timothy 5:22 not to be “partakers in other men’s sins,” as well as the command in Ephesians 5:7, “Be not ye therefore partakers with them.”
According to Aaron: “I have customers come in almost on a weekly basis that are homosexual. …They can buy my stuff. I sell stuff. I talk with them. That’s fine. … This was not the first time we’ve served these girls.”
The Kleins further pointed out that they too had been greatly harmed, citing “mafia tactics” vandalization of their car, on two occasions; vendors being harassed by homosexual advocates resulting in some businesses breaking ties with them; threatening emails wishing rape, death and Hell upon the family; etc.  As a result, they had to close their business and move it into their private home. Read their moving account here.
But the judges at the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries were not impressed with these arguments.  Siding with the lesbians, a judge ruled this February that the Christian bakers are guilty of discrimination for declining to make the cake, and are to pay a whooping $135,000 to the complainants.  The administrative judge took time to clarify that the money is not fine or civil penalty to be paid to the government, but rather compensation to be paid to the complainants for the harm suffered by them.
That is not the end of the story however.
Convinced about the justness of their cause, and knowing that a good majority of ordinary Americans identify with them rather than the minority vocal and aggressive gay advocates, the Kleins took to the popular fundraising site, GoFundMe.  Within a few hours, over $100,000 had poured in from concerned citizens sending in tokens.  Infuriated, a homosexual advocate (who also happens to be a competitor Cake maker – Lisa Watson of Cupcake Jones) wrote to criticize GoFundMe for allowing a fundraiser to cover a penalty for a hate offence.  The fundraising site promptly capitulated, pulling down the page for the Kleins.
After Samaritan’s Purse, led by Franklin Graham, learned that the fundraiser for the Klein’s had been removed by GoFundMe, they set up their own fundraising page for the couple and others in their shoes.
“They have taken a stand for the word of God, and they should not have to stand alone,” Rev Graham said. “I believe that Christians across our nation will rally around Aaron and Melissa and their five children.”
